Main Street is at Risk if Tax Reforms Perish
Small businesses are the economic heart and soul of communities across America. They drive local economic growth and job creation. Small businesses account for 99.7 percent of all U.S. businesses and employ almost half of private sector workers. Unfortunately, many small businesses are currently struggling with inflationary pressures, higher interest rates, and economic uncertainty. Now is not the time for higher taxes.
At the end of 2025, small businesses could face a significant tax increase, which would make running a business and competing in the marketplace much harder. If no Congressional action is taken, the 2017 tax reform law will expire – meaning the historic changes to the tax code that put capital and resources back into the hands of Main Street businesses will be erased.

In order to compete and thrive, business owners must be able to focus on growing and innovating. They should not have to worry about policy uncertainty from Washington!
